Your teacher website must contain
A. Frontpage aka index - banner, your name, your school's name, and school information. Make it attractive, engaging, and useful.
This is the first page all visitors will see.
Hint: click on the options link on the right, and then the settings tab to choose different color settings.
B. Subpages
Notice the links in the column on the right. There are links to your other pages, or subpages, in your website.
You will edit and customize them, as well, to include the following:
1. About The Teacher - include your name, work email address, teaching philosophy, certification areas, years of experience, and your alma mater(s) (since we are promoting education).
2. Class Information & Documents - include your class title, a schedule, syllabus, rules, supply list, etc.
3. Lessons- include a link to your lesson plan, student samples, teacher samples, teaching documents, rubrics, etc.
4. Useful Links - include links to tutorial websites, the school website, and other places that would be helpful to your students and parents.
5. Credits - if you use graphics from other sources, you'll need to cite your sources. Also, make sure you have the signed parent permission form for each student on file if you publish audio, visual, or examples of their work.
